Several significant organ music events are scheduled for September 2026 in Germany.

In Rottweil, the Heilig-Kreuz-Münster will celebrate the inauguration of its Klais organ following a comprehensive six-month cleaning and electrical overhaul. The festivities include a festival concert on September 19 featuring works by Poulenc, performed by the Stadtkapelle Rottweil brass ensemble and a chamber orchestra. On September 20, a formal organ consecration will take place during a high mass, featuring a performance of Mozart’s Missa brevis by the Münster choir and guests from the Brugg-Windisch church choir from Switzerland.

In Ingolstadt, the Liebfrauenmünster will host world-renowned French organ virtuoso Daniel Roth on September 6. Roth, a former titular organist at Saint-Sulpice in Paris and recipient of the Chevalier de la Légion d’Honneur, will perform a program on the Klais organ spanning four centuries of repertoire. The concert will include works by Sweelinck, Bach, Saint-Saëns, Vierne, Dupré, and Roth himself.
