Organ music events scheduled in Nidderau and Haag

Several organ music events are scheduled in Germany. In Nidderau-Heldenbergen, the Nidderauer Orgelnacht features a participatory concert at the Catholic Church on October 17. The program, led by organist Bernhardt Brand-Hofmeister and speaker Gudrun Rathke, tells a musical story designed for all ages, involving audience participation through singing and provided instruments.

In Haag, the Diözesane Orgeltage includes a concert titled ‘Musikalische Reise durch Deutschland’ at the Maria Himmelfahrt parish church on October 10. Performed by church musician Alexander Horak, the program features works by Bach, Buxtehude, Pachelbel, and Muffat. Following the concert, an organ tour will be offered on October 11 to provide insights into the instrument’s mechanics and function.
