Organic food festivals scheduled in Graz and Salzburg

Austria is hosting organic food festivals in Graz and Salzburg. The 30th anniversary of Biofest Graz will take place on October 2 and 3, 2026, at the Hauptplatz. The event will feature approximately 25 exhibitors offering organic produce, bread, cheese, honey, wine, and beer, alongside live music and children's programming.

The 31st Salzburger Biofest is scheduled for October 10 and 11 at the Stiegl-Brauwelt in Maxglan. This marks a change in venue after the city of Salzburg denied permission for the event to be held at Kapitelplatz last year. The new location includes the historic Sudhaushof, an inner courtyard, and a herb garden. The festival will include organic culinary offerings, live music, and educational talks.
