Organización Colegial Veterinaria opens 2026 equine clinic recertification

The Organización Colegial Veterinaria (OCV) has opened the 2026 recertification call for the Spanish Certificate in Equine Clinic (CertEspCEq). This process is designed to ensure veterinarians maintain updated knowledge and professional competencies in the field of equine medicine.

The standard call applies to professionals who obtained the CertEspCEq in 2021. Additionally, as an exceptional measure, professionals certified in 2019 who did not complete their recertification during the 2025 period are also eligible to apply.

The application and documentation submission period runs from September 12 to October 18, 2026, via the OCV Certifications Platform. Following this, document review will conclude by October 31, with the evaluation of professional and training merits occurring between November 1 and November 15. Final validation and the issuance of recertifications are expected in the last weeks of November.
