Organization of Turkic States energy experts compete in Ankara

The Vocational Mastery Competition for Energy Experts of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) was held in Ankara, hosted by TEDAŞ under the auspices of the Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources. The event aimed to strengthen energy cooperation and build professional bridges among member states.

Teams from Turkey, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Uzbekistan participated in practical stages, demonstrating skills such as replacing faulty fuses on high-voltage distribution transformers. The competition evaluated participants on occupational health and safety compliance, equipment usage, fault detection, and team coordination.

Awards were presented in five categories: Kazakhstan was named the ‘Most Successful Expert Team’, Turkey the ‘Most Experienced Expert Team’, Azerbaijan the ‘Most Practical Expert Team’, Kyrgyzstan the ‘Most Coordinated Expert Team’, and Uzbekistan the ‘Most Attentive Expert Team’. Kazakhstan is set to host the event next year.
