Organized crime violence reported in Spain and Argentina

Violence linked to organized crime and drug trafficking has been reported in both Spain and Argentina.

In Isla Cristina, Huelva, a targeted attack involving high-caliber weapons resulted in the deaths of a woman and her unborn child, along with a teenager and another child. The incident is described as a settlement between criminal groups operating near the Guadiana River estuary. Reports indicate that criminal organizations in the region possess advanced weaponry and faster vessels than local law enforcement.

In Florencio Varela, Argentina, a shooting in the El Alpino neighborhood left two young men dead after they were reportedly mistaken for drug traffickers. Following the incident, local residents reacted with violence, setting fire to a suspected drug dealer's home and fatally stabbing the dealer's wife. One individual remains in critical condition following the retaliatory actions.
