ORGATEC 2026 to host Eames Pavilion System exhibition

ORGATEC 2026 will host a special exhibition titled ‘ORGATEC 2026 presents the Eames Pavilion System by Kettal in collaboration with the Eames Office’. Scheduled for 27 to 30 October 2026, the 132-square-metre exhibition in Hall 10. 2 will feature two walk-in versions of the Eames Pavilion System.

The exhibition aims to showcase the architectural legacy of Charles and Ray Eames, highlighting how their concepts of adaptable and flexible architecture remain relevant to modern spatial design. The display will include selected materials and exhibits from the Eames Office archive to provide insight into their historical work, including their residential projects like the Eames House.

According to ORGATEC Director Maik Fischer, the modular system is a piece of design history reimagined for contemporary needs, aligning with the event's theme of designing spaces for an ever-changing world. The project follows nearly three years of research and development led by design consultant Eckart Mais.
