Oriana Fallaci's unpublished letters to be published

Twenty years after her death, the previously unknown letters of renowned Italian journalist and writer Oriana Fallaci are set to be published. The book, titled ‘Forca e Pasionit – Letra për Monsinjor Fisichellën’ (The Force of Passion – Letters to Monsignor Fisichella), is scheduled for release on September 8.

The collection comprises correspondence exchanged during the final year of Fallaci's life while she was living in New York and battling severe illness. The letters reveal a more vulnerable and human side of the author, who was widely known for her strong character and critical intellect.

In the writings, Fallaci describes her physical suffering and her spiritual connection to Monsignor Rino Fisichella, whom she credits with providing essential emotional support during her most difficult moments. She expresses deep gratitude for his presence, stating that his words and kindness helped her through her struggle with illness.
