ORICO announces MagSafe-compatible magnetic card reader

ORICO has unveiled a MagSafe-compatible magnetic card reader designed to support mobile creators. The device features magnetic attachment for seamless use with iPhones, and includes an auxiliary magnetic ring to enable similar functionality for Android devices and laptops.

Key technical specifications include simultaneous SD and TF card reading via the SD/TF 3.0 protocol, with speeds up to 104MB/s. The reader allows for real-time ProRes video recording directly to external cards on iPhone 15, 16, and 17 Pro/Pro Max models, helping to mitigate internal storage limitations. Additionally, it is equipped with a 100W PD fast-charging port, allowing users to charge devices like smartphones or laptops while transferring data.
