ORICO announces new RAID DAS and Thunderbolt 4 docking station

ORICO has announced new hardware solutions for professional workflows, including a high-capacity RAID DAS and a Thunderbolt 4 docking station.

The ORICO-9958RC3-PRO is a 5-bay RAID Direct Attached Storage (DAS) device capable of supporting up to 130TB of total storage using 3.5-inch or 2.5-inch drives. It utilizes a USB-C interface with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 technology, providing bandwidth up to 20Gbps. The device features a plug-and-play RAID configuration system via rear switches and an aluminum alloy body for heat dissipation. Additionally, ORICO introduced a 12-in-1 Thunderbolt 4 certified docking station. This device supports 40Gbps data transfer speeds and can output a single 8K resolution or dual 4K displays. It provides up to 85W of power delivery to a host laptop and includes various ports such as USB-A, USB-C, HDMI, DisplayPort 1.4, SD/TF card slots, and Gigabit Ethernet. The docking station is compatible with both macOS and Windows systems.
