Orient Express Corinthian luxury sailing yacht to debut in Valencia

The Orient Express Corinthian, a massive 220-meter luxury sailing yacht, is set to debut in Valencia on April 14 next year. As the largest cruise-style sailing vessel ever built, the ship features 54 suites, including penthouse apartments with private fitness rooms and jacuzzis. The vessel utilizes SolidSail technology with three 69-meter carbon masts and is powered by liquefied natural gas when not under sail.

In addition to its maritime debut, Orient Express Sailing Yachts has announced a partnership with Guerlain for the ‘Ocean Rebirth’ wellness retreat. Scheduled for October 2026, this 14-night immersive journey will sail from Lisbon to Bridgetown, Barbados, via the Azores. The program focuses on nutrition, movement, mindfulness, and sleep, featuring specialized wellness experts, individual consultations, and advanced aesthetic technologies.

The ship’s culinary offerings are curated by French Michelin-starred chef Yannick Alléno. The arrival of the Corinthian aligns with Valencia’s strategic shift toward high-quality, low-volume cruise tourism, prioritizing luxury experiences over mass passenger numbers.
