Orietta Berti and Nomadi announce free summer concerts in Sicily and Calabria
On 14 August 2026, Italian singer Orietta Berti will headline a free concert titled “La mia vita è un film” in Piazza Umberto I, Palazzo Adriano (province of Palermo, Sicily). The performance is part of the town’s celebrations for the Holy Crucifix. Berti, known as the “Usignolo di Cavriago”, rose to fame in the 1960s and remains a celebrated artist with more than sixteen million records sold.
On 27 July 2026, the veteran Italian band Nomadi is scheduled to play a free outdoor show in Piazza Antonio Stracuzzi, Santa Teresa di Riva (province of Messina, Sicily). The concert is included in the municipality’s summer events programme. Formed in 1963, Nomadi are best known for hits such as “Io vagabondo” and have a long history of social activism.
Both events offer free entry and are organized by the respective local authorities as part of their summer cultural programming.
