Orihime Japan announces roster for second training camp

The Japan Handball Association has announced the roster for the second training camp of the women's national handball team, known as ‘Orihime Japan’. The camp is scheduled to take place from September 11 to September 18, 2026, at the Ajinomoto National Training Center in Tokyo.

A total of 18 players and seven staff members will participate. The group includes nine players selected for the 2026 Asian Games in Aichi-Nagoya. The training aims to prepare for the Asian Games, the Women's Asian Championship in December, and the 2027 Los Angeles Olympics Asian qualifiers.

While 18 players are attending the initial camp, seven additional players currently playing for overseas clubs in Romania, Germany, France, and Spain are expected to join the team later during the IHF National Team Week in late September.
