Orion Innovation and Aventra Group achieve ISO/IEC 42001 AI certification

Orion Innovation and Aventra Group have both achieved the ISO/IEC 42001:2023 certification, the international standard for Artificial Intelligence Management Systems (AIMS).

Orion Innovation, a software engineering services partner, stated that the certification reinforces its responsible-by-design approach. The company aims to help enterprises move AI from experimentation to scaled production by integrating governance, risk management, and continuous monitoring into its AI-enabled software delivery.

Aventra Group, based in Malaysia, has embedded the framework across its infrastructure to unify AI governance with existing information security management frameworks like ISO 27001 and SOC 2 Type II. The company noted that this certification is intended to address trust deficits and data liability concerns, potentially allowing enterprise clients to bypass lengthy vendor review cycles during technological rollouts.
