Oristano announces September cultural and sporting program

The city of Oristano has finalized its multidisciplinary program for 'Settembre Oristanese,' a month-long series of events designed to promote tourism and local culture. A major highlight of the schedule is a free concert by the band The Kolors, scheduled for September 3 at the Torre Grande Large Events Area.

The program includes a wide variety of activities, such as the Miss Italia Sardegna regional final, the Sartigliedda summer festival, and several sporting events including the Sardinia Gravel Race, the Sardegna Volleyball Challenge, and basketball matches at the Palasport Sa Rodia. Cultural offerings feature literary readings, historical conferences, and traditional celebrations like the Festa del Rimedio and Sant’Efisio.

Additionally, the municipal administration has expanded the calendar by selecting five proposals from local associations and private entities. These additions include the short film presentation of ‘S’Attitu,’ the fourth Festa del Borgo, traditional choral performances by Coro Sa Pintadera in Gothic churches, ‘Rock in Contea,’ and the ‘Storie che ispirano alla comunità’ project. The initiative aims to foster collaboration between the local government and external organizations to enhance the city's seasonal appeal.
