Orkun Kökçü misses training due to injury

The Turkish Football Federation (TFF) announced that Orkun Kökçü was unable to participate in training due to ongoing pain in his toe.

Under the management of head coach Vincenzo Montella, the national team continued its preparations at the TFF Hasan Doğan National Teams Camp and Training Facilities. While players such as Demir Ege Tıknaz, Deniz Gül, Muhammed Şengezer, and Yunus Akgün returned to training, Kökçü remained sidelined.

The team is preparing for their UEFA Nations League Group A match against France in Kocaeli on September 25. Following that fixture, Turkey is scheduled to host Italy in Bursa on September 28, with upcoming matches against Belgium on October 2 and Italy again on October 5.
