Actor Orlando Bloom has reportedly exited the upcoming survival thriller ‘Reset’ shortly before production was scheduled to begin. Bloom was set to co-star alongside Priyanka Chopra Jonas and serve as an executive producer through his company, Amazing Owl.

His departure has reportedly caused concern regarding the film’s financing and international distribution prospects, as the combined star power of Bloom and Chopra Jonas was central to the project’s strategy. Filmmakers are currently considering three potential actors to take over the role to avoid disrupting the production schedule, with Chopra Jonas expected to have input on the final decision.

Directed by Matt Smukler, ‘Reset’ follows a woman who wakes up alone in a remote wilderness with no memory of her circumstances. She must rely on a seemingly friendly stranger while questioning his true intentions.
