Orlando City seeks MLS playoff berth against Chicago Fire

Orlando City will face the Chicago Fire at Soldier Field on Wednesday night in a critical Major League Soccer matchup. Currently sitting in seventh place in the Eastern Conference with 42 points, Orlando is looking to secure a postseason berth. A victory, combined with a Columbus Crew loss to FC Dallas, would guarantee Orlando a spot in the playoffs.

Orlando enters the match on a four-game unbeaten streak. The team is seeking redemption after a 2-1 loss to Chicago on August 19. Chicago Fire has already secured a playoff position and currently holds fourth place in the Eastern Conference with 51 points.

Chicago Fire forward Lewandowski aims to break a seven-game goal drought during this contest. The match is scheduled to take place during the night of October 28-29.
