Orlando Dreamers' $2 B MLB Stadium Proposal Reviewed by Orange County

The Orlando Dreamers have released new renderings for a proposed 45,000‑seat domed Major League Baseball stadium on International Drive near State Road 528. The project is estimated to cost about $2 billion, with the group seeking $975 million from Orange County’s Tourist Development Tax and the remainder from private investors.

An economic impact study projects the development could create more than 38,000 construction jobs and over 52,000 permanent positions, generating billions of dollars in activity over decades. The Orange County Tourist Development Tax Task Force is currently reviewing the request amid limited funding and competing projects, meaning the stadium’s approval remains uncertain.
