Rafael Matos and Orlando Luz reach Cincinnati ATP semifinals

Brazilian tennis duo Rafael Matos and Orlando Luz have advanced to the semifinals of the ATP Cincinnati Masters 1000. Following their recent title win in Montreal, the pair secured their spot after defeating the fourth-seeded Italian duo Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori with a 2-0 scoreline (7-6, 6-3).

Their run in Cincinnati included a victory in the round of 16 against Marcelo Melo and Alexander Zverev, and an opening win over Neal Skupski and Christian Harrison. The duo currently holds the eighth position in the season rankings and is aiming to secure a spot in the ATP Finals in Turin.

In the semifinals, Matos and Luz are scheduled to face Hugo Nys and Edouard Roger-Vasselin.
