Orlando Magic complete first week of training camp under Sean Sweeney

The Orlando Magic have completed their first week of training camp under new head coach Sean Sweeney. During the week, Sweeney utilized his interest in combat sports by bringing in former junior welterweight champion Chris Aligieri to speak to the team about championship preparation and mental toughness.

Players have expressed early optimism regarding Sweeney’s leadership. Forward Paolo Banchero noted the coach’s proactive communication and established rapport, while center-forward Wendell Carter Jr. praised Sweeney’s emphasis on accountability and high standards. Sweeney reported that the team has demonstrated strong communication and a self-driven effort to learn his new system.
