Orlando Magic players face high pressure for upcoming season

The Orlando Magic face significant pressure to advance within the Eastern Conference as they approach the upcoming season. Key players such as Jalen Suggs, Paolo Banchero, and Franz Wagner are under scrutiny to solidify their roles and elevate the team's performance.

Jalen Suggs must demonstrate consistent availability and statistical production to cement his position as the starting point guard, especially with Anthony Black emerging as a potential competitor for the role. Meanwhile, offensive leaders Banchero and Wagner are expected to carry the team as they attempt to move past an eighth-place conference finish.

The New York Knicks continue to serve as a primary measuring stick for the Magic's progress. Previous matchups in the NBA Cup highlighted the gap between the two teams, specifically noting how the Knicks' depth and veteran presence, led by Jalen Brunson, have challenged the younger Orlando roster.
