Orlando Pallamano Haenna partners with Kore University for scientific sports project

Orlando Pallamano Haenna has consolidated its collaboration with the Department of Human and Social Sciences at Kore University of Enna. This partnership aims to utilize scientific expertise to prepare the team for the top division through advanced analytical tools.

The collaboration involves several specialized areas. The Movement and Performance Analysis Laboratory (LAMP), directed by Professor Francesco Sgrò, will analyze athletic movements to optimize performance and prevent injuries using objective data. Students and doctoral candidates will assist in these profiles throughout the season.

Physical preparation will be supported by human anatomy researcher Dr. Francesca Orofino, who will monitor body composition data, and kinesiologist Dr. Stefano Dell’Arte, who will translate scientific findings into daily physical conditioning. Additionally, Professor Simona Nicolosi will implement a research-based mental training program to help athletes manage pressure and concentration.
