MTN8 semi-finalists confirmed after quarter-final matches

The MTN8 quarter-finals have concluded, confirming the semi-finalists: Orlando Pirates, Golden Arrows, Mamelodi Sundowns, and Sekhukhune United.

Orlando Pirates secured their spot with a 2-1 extra-time victory over Durban City. Despite playing with 10 men for much of the match following a red card for Brooklyn Poggenpoel, Pirates leveled through Jean Lwamba Lubumba before Ghampani Lungu scored a decisive volley in the final minute of extra time.
