Orlando Pirates receive injury boosts ahead of CAF Champions League clash
Orlando Pirates are receiving significant squad boosts ahead of their CAF Champions League first preliminary round second-leg match against La Cure Waves. Following a 0-0 draw in the first leg, the club is preparing to host the Mauritian side at Orlando Amstel Arena.
Coach Abdeslam Ouaddou reported that Kabelo Dlamini, Thalente Mbatha, and Evidence Makgopa have returned to training. Additionally, winger Mohau Nkota, who recently rejoined the club on loan from Al-Ettifaq, is progressing through injury treatment and is expected to return within three to four weeks.
The club continues to manage squad depth following extensive transfer activity. While the team has added 12 players to defend their Betway Premiership title, recent discussions have focused on the performance of new signings and the impact of key player availability on their continental campaign.
