Orlando Pirates open title defence with 2-0 win as PSL season kicks off

Orlando Pirates began their 2026/27 Betway Premiership title defence with a 2-0 victory over newly promoted Milford at the Orlando Amstel Arena. Goals came from Oswin Appollis and Tshepang Moremi, while coach Abdeslam Ouaddou praised the win but warned the media not to over‑hype 21‑year‑old prospect Cemran Dansin, saying the youngster still needs work. Ouaddou also noted the match was not easy and highlighted tactical adjustments made at halftime.
