Orlando theme parks host major festivals and seasonal events

Major theme park events are scheduled to begin in Orlando this week. At Walt Disney World, the 30th annual EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival is set to launch on Thursday and will run through November 21. The festival features various marketplaces and special menu items throughout the park.

At Universal Orlando, the 35th annual Halloween Horror Nights begins this Friday at Universal Studios Florida. This year’s event includes 10 new haunted houses, such as the Academy Award-winning 'Sinners' and the final season of 'Stranger Things', alongside new scare zones and shows.

Additionally, the TouringPlans Lines app has introduced a “Rope Drop Mode.” This feature allows users to optimize their morning schedules by accounting for early arrival at the front of attraction lines, which helps the software provide more accurate low wait-time predictions for the start of the park day.
