Ormanya Natural Life Park hosts retired working donkeys

Four donkeys that previously worked in the narrow streets of Mardin to transport waste have been relocated to the Ormanya Natural Life Park in Kocaeli. Due to their advancing age and declining physical strength, the animals were moved to the park's Children's Animal Farm to live out their retirement in a peaceful environment.

The group consists of three females and one male, aged between 15 and 20 years. Following a rehabilitation process, they are now under the regular care of veterinary physicians and qualified staff who monitor their health and nutrition daily. The donkeys have become a point of interest for visitors to the park, particularly among children and student groups.
