Ornella Vanoni honored with Milan performances and unreleased Gino Paoli song

Tributes are being held for Italian singer Ornella Vanoni to mark what would have been her 92nd birthday. At the Piccolo Teatro in Milan, singer-songwriter Pacifico will present ‘Diario sentimentale di una donna libera’, a performance and biographical journey exploring Vanoni’s life and career. The event, which includes guests Francesco Gabbani and Veronica Lucchesi, is part of a three-year celebratory cycle dedicated to the artist.

In a separate tribute, singer Gino Paoli has released an unreleased song titled ‘Quando ti rivedrò’, written specifically for Vanoni. The track, co-authored by Adriano Pennino and featuring musician Paolo Fresu, will appear in a new edition of Paoli’s collection, ‘Appunti di un lungo viaggio’. The release serves as a posthumous collaboration between the two artists, who both passed away within months of each other in late 2025 and early 2026.
