Ornella Vanoni releases AI-generated video for Vasco Rossi song

Italian singer Ornella Vanoni has released a music video for “Vivere,” a song by Vasco Rossi, created entirely using artificial intelligence. The vocal recording was produced by Katoo in Milan, supervised by Mario Lavezzi, and features accompaniment from the Budapest Orchestra.

Vasco Rossi expressed his emotional reaction to the project on Instagram, noting that hearing Vanoni interpret his work evoked significant memories from his youth. The AI-driven video, directed by Claudio Zagarini and Francesco Siro, depicts a digital version of the artist throughout various stages of her career.

The release precedes the November 13 launch of the album “Vivere: il mio concerto più bello!” This album features recordings from Vanoni’s April 2024 concerts at the Arcimboldi in Milan, including duets with several prominent artists such as Elisa, Mahmood, and Fiorella Mannoia.
