Ornella Vanoni to release posthumous cover of Vasco Rossi song

Italian singer Ornella Vanoni will release an unreleased studio recording of “Vivere,” a song originally written by Vasco Rossi. The track, which was composed by Tullio Ferro and Massimo Riva, is scheduled to be available on radio and digital platforms on November 6, 2026.

The recording serves as a lead-up to the posthumous album “VIVERE il mio concerto più bello!”, set for release by BMG on November 13. This new project features 31 songs, including 29 live recordings from venues such as Milan’s Teatro degli Arcimboldi and Rome’s Terme di Caracalla, alongside two unreleased tracks: “Vivere” and “Viva la vita,” the latter featuring Francesco Gabbani.

The live album includes contributions from various artists, including Elisa, Emma, Fiorella Mannoia, Mahmood, and Patty Pravo. Physical editions will be released in Collector’s Edition formats, including a limited numbered box set containing three vinyl records and a special 45 rpm disc.
