Oro Verde implements automated traffic fines on Route 11

Automated traffic enforcement via camera-based fines will begin on October 15 at the access point to Oro Verde on National Route 11. The system, implemented by the Entre Ríos Provincial Police, targets violations regarding seatbelt usage and mobile phone use while driving.

Following a period of educational awareness, fines will be calculated using Fixed Units (UF). Failure to wear a seatbelt will result in penalties between 50 and 100 UF, while using a mobile phone while driving will incur fines between 150 and 500 UF. Based on current values, these penalties can range from approximately $106,500 to over $1,000,000 pesos.
