Orpheus Uranium finds high-grade uranium at McArthur Project

Orpheus Uranium has identified a new uranium exploration target at its Conways tenement within the McArthur Project in Australia’s Northern Territory. During an inaugural reconnaissance program, near-surface rock chip samples returned uranium oxide (U3O8) grades ranging from 0.8% to 4.1%.

The program identified a previously unmapped radiometric anomaly extending approximately 60 metres along strike. Field observations suggest the mineralisation may extend sub-surface, potentially representing a new basement-hosted uranium occurrence in an area with no previous historical surface exploration. The target is also associated with elevated copper grades of up to 0.8%.

Managing Director Clinton Dubieniecki noted that the percent tenor of uranium found at the surface is “very rare in Australia,” providing a rationale for accelerated follow-up investigation within the EL34013 tenement. Further geochemical results are expected in December 2026.
