Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica and MPB4 to perform at Teatro Riachuelo Rio

The Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica and the musical group MPB4 are set to present the “MPB4 Sinfônico” project at the Teatro Riachuelo Rio on October 28. Conducted by maestro Felipe Prazeres, the concert features a repertoire of Brazilian music classics from artists such as Chico Buarque, Tom Jobim, Milton Nascimento, and João Bosco.

The project includes new symphonic arrangements by Jaime Alem, Itamar Assiere, Gilson Santos, and Paulo Malaguti Pauleira. The performance follows the release of the “MPB4 Sinfônico” album, which was recorded at the Sala Armando Prazeres following a collaborative meeting between the orchestra and the quartet in October 2024.
