Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica to open Semana de Arte do Rio

The Orquestra Petrobras Sinfônica will perform at the opening of the Semana de Arte do Rio on September 16 at the Arcos da Lapa. Under the direction of maestro Felipe Prazeres, the concert, titled “Na Trilha do Rock,” will feature a repertoire of classic Brazilian pop and rock songs from artists such as Os Paralamas do Sucesso, Legião Urbana, Lulu Santos, and Rita Lee.

The event is part of the first edition of the Semana de Arte do Rio, which runs from September 16 to 27, 2026. The festival aims to bring together various artistic languages, including exhibitions and urban interventions, throughout the central region of the city. Following the orchestra's performance, singer Diogo Nogueira is scheduled to take the stage.
