Ortahisar Municipality responds to heavy rainfall in Trabzon

Ortahisar Municipality has launched intensive operations to mitigate the impact of heavy rainfall in Trabzon. Following severe downpours that disrupted daily life, the municipality's Department of Science Affairs has deployed a fleet including 4 JCBs, 3 loaders, 2 excavators, 5 trucks, and 7 service vehicles, supported by 26 personnel.

Teams are working to address road and wall collapses, clear mud and debris from drains and culverts, and ensure transportation remains functional. Ortahisar Mayor Ahmet Kaya reported that the municipality is responding immediately to reports from across the district and remains on high alert for continued rainfall.
