Orte begins emergency works on Via dei Cordari following landslides

The municipality of Orte has initiated urgent emergency works on Via dei Cordari following landslides that significantly narrowed the roadway. The landslides created safety risks for residents and public safety.

The intervention involves constructing a variable-height containment wall built on reinforced concrete piles to stabilize the slope. To maintain the area's aesthetic and architectural character, the visible portions of the wall will be faced with tuff masonry.

In addition to securing the hillside, the project will widen the road. This expansion is intended to improve access for local residents and facilitate the safe passage of school buses serving the Don Pacifico Arcangeli primary school. The works are being funded by municipal resources.
