Orte hosts international delegations for European cultural projects

The Italian town of Orte is hosting international delegations from Malta, Portugal, and Italy to mark the conclusion of three European cultural projects: EUROP-ART, Flags of Unity, and SECURE. These initiatives, curated by ACe20, aim to promote local history, support the regional economy, and boost tourism through cultural integration.

A key component involves the participation of approximately 50 young people aged 18 to 25. These participants will engage in cultural exchanges and historical reenactments, including a flag-themed performance scheduled for September 10 in Piazza Senatore Manni in Orte, followed by an event in Viterbo on September 12.

The festivities will culminate on September 13 with the 'Corteo Storico delle Sette Contrade'. During this historical parade, participants will wear period costumes from the late 1300s to walk the streets of Orte alongside the local community.
