Orthodox Churches Hold Liturgies in Romania and Moldova

On 26 July 2026, Orthodox clergy performed significant liturgical celebrations after Pentecost in two neighboring countries. In Romania, Archbishop Ciprian led the Holy Liturgy at the Vadu Sorești Parish in Buzău County, accompanied by eight priests and a choir, emphasizing biblical themes of the miracle of the loaves and fishes and the Eucharist. The service highlighted faith and divine providence for the local faithful.

In Moldova, Metropolitan Vladimir of Chișinău blessed the Divine Liturgy at the Nativity of the Lord Cathedral, with Bishop Filaret of Căpriana serving as the concelebrant. The ceremony drew numerous worshippers and featured scriptural reflections on spiritual nourishment and repentance.
