Orthodox parishes in Romania host community and religious education events

Various Orthodox parishes in Romania held community events focused on religious education and intergenerational connection.

At the Saint Hilarion Felea Center in the Arad Șega I Parish, a series of meetings titled ‘Joy in Orthodoxy’ took place between September 29 and October 1, 2026. The program included catechetical sessions for children aged 6 to 14, dialogue sessions for adolescents and young adults to discuss faith and life, and a special gathering for seniors to mark International Day of Older Persons.

In Călimănești II, the parish’s creative circle organized an activity for children based on the Gospel of the Miraculous Catch. The session combined religious teaching with creative crafts, where children used paper to create colorful fish as symbols of the biblical lesson.
