Orthodox religious and cultural events held in Romania and Moldova

Various religious and cultural events were observed across Romania and Moldova, centered on Orthodox Christian traditions and historical commemorations.

In Romania, Archbishop Casian of the Danube attended the opening of Teodor Vișan’s “Culorile verii” exhibition at the Museum of History, Culture, and Christian Spirituality. In Turda, a service was held at the “Mihai Vodă” Monastery to mark the 425th anniversary of the death of Mihai Viteazul. Other liturgical celebrations included the feast of the Dormition of the Mother of God in Craiova, the patronal feast of the Cathedral in Iași presided over by Bishop Iosif Păuleț, and services at the Union Cathedral in Focșani and the Metropolitan Cathedral in Cluj-Napoca.

In Moldova, religious activities included clergy gatherings in the Fălești district and the sharing of liturgical texts and lives of saints, such as Saint Tikhon of Zadonsk, through Orthodox portals.
