OrthoPediatrics posts record Q2 revenue, lifts 2026 guidance

OrthoPediatrics reported record second‑quarter revenue of $70.5 million, a 15% increase year over year, driven by a 26% rise in Trauma & Deformity sales and more than 20% growth in its Orthopedic Specialty Bracing (OPSB) segment. Adjusted EBITDA reached a record $6.8 million and gross margin improved to 74%.

The company raised its full‑year 2026 revenue outlook to $265‑$269 million, representing 12%‑14% growth, and reiterated a target of roughly $25 million adjusted EBITDA. Management expects positive free cash flow in the second half of 2026 and breakeven or better for the full year. New product introductions such as the 3P Hip system, VerteGlide and the DF2 pediatric femur‑fracture device are expected to support continued growth, with additional launches planned through 2027.

Scoliosis revenue fell 9% due to the absence of 7D unit sales and weaker set sales in Brazil, though overall implant and bracing revenue grew in the mid‑teens. International revenue rose 22%, led by record performance in Europe, while Brazil’s decline reflected cash‑collection and ordering discipline rather than demand. CEO David Bailey highlighted that the quarter helped nearly 46,000 children, bringing the company’s cumulative patient impact to 1.4 million, and announced an exclusive distribution agreement with OSSIO for metal‑free fixation technology.
