Circolo Canottieri Ortigia confirms two players for 2026/27 season
Italian water‑polo club Circolo Canottieri Ortigia announced that 19‑year‑old midfielder Giorgio Marangolo will remain with the Serie A1 side for the 2026/27 campaign. Marangolo, who joined the club in 2024, is entering his third season and will play under new head coach Koljanin. He said he is "very happy to continue wearing the Ortigia jersey and looks forward to a new season with humility and hard work."
The club also confirmed that forward Enrico Tringali Capuano will stay for the same season. After a loan spell with Bologna, Tringali Capuano returned to Siracusa in summer 2025 and contributed eight goals as the team secured league survival. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating he is "very happy to remain at Ortigia and ready for an ambitious year under the new coach."
Both players are expected to help the club pursue its objectives in the upcoming Serie A1 season.
