Ortley Beach visitors criticize large group circles for taking up excessive space
A local observer at Ortley Beach has raised concerns regarding a perceived new trend of large groups forming massive circles on the sand. These groups, consisting of 15 to 20 people, reportedly occupy between 500 and 600 square feet of space using tents and chairs arranged in wide circles.
The observer noted that these expansive setups create a sense of crowding even on days when the beach is not at full capacity. The critique suggests that such arrangements are inefficient uses of space compared to traditional linear setups, which would allow more room for other beachgoers.
