Ortona and Terni announce upcoming local community events

Ortona is preparing for its ‘Notte Bianca’ event on August 22. The celebration will feature a diverse program including live music from various bands and DJs across several city squares, such as Piazza Porta Caldari and Piazza della Repubblica. Activities include hip hop and reggaeton sets, non-stop hits spanning several decades, children's entertainment, and a cosplay evening. Additionally, the event will host an antique market and various food trucks. A shuttle bus service will operate from the Ortona Center parking lots to facilitate attendance.

In Terni, the municipality has opened applications for the 2026 ‘Notte Bianca dello Sport’ scheduled for September 11. Interested sports associations, federations, and third-sector entities must submit their participation requests via certified email by August 28. The event is intended for promotional sporting activities rather than public entertainment. Participants are responsible for the setup, safety, and insurance of their assigned spaces.
