Ortona community mourns Stefan Gjeroski following fatal accident

A large crowd gathered at the Basilica of San Tommaso Apostolo in Ortona to attend the funeral of Stefan Gjeroski, 31, who died following a road accident on the SS16 this past Sunday.

Gjeroski, originally from Macedonia, was a well-known figure in the Ortona community. He and his wife, Alessia Buccella, previously managed the Carpe Diem bistro near the basilica. The funeral service, officiated by Father Roberto Geroldi, was attended by family members traveling from Macedonia, local residents, and colleagues who remembered him as a professional and friendly individual.
