Ortona plans 3.89 million euro public housing redevelopment

Officials from the Municipality of Ortona, the Abruzzo Region, and Ater di Chieti conducted a site visit to the via Tedesco public housing area to discuss a redevelopment project. The plan involves the recovery and requalification of four existing buildings to create 26 units of subsidized social housing.

The total project cost is estimated at approximately 3.89 million euros. This includes a state funding allocation of over 3.23 million euros, which has been assigned to the Abruzzo Region following a national program ranking. While the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has favorably evaluated the allocation, finalization is pending the adoption of a new interministerial decree to formalize the beneficiary change.
