Çorum completes new industrial training and cultural facilities
In Çorum, Turkey, several new infrastructure projects aimed at education, industry, and culture are nearing completion. The Çorum Organized Industrial Zone Continuous Education Center (ÇOSEM) is in its final stages of development. Coordinated by the Çorum Governorship, the center aims to provide qualified human resources for local industry through applied training in fields such as welding, robotics, hydraulic-pneumatic systems, and technical drawing. The facility is equipped with modern technologies including CNC, CAD/CAM, and industrial robotics to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and production needs.
Additionally, the construction of the Osmancık Cultural Center, managed by the Çorum Special Provincial Administration, has been completed. Spanning a total construction area of 5,955 square meters, the center will offer diverse facilities including a 303-seat conference hall, a children's library with a 4,000-book capacity, specialized reading rooms for various age groups, and a library for the disabled. The center also includes workshops, individual study rooms, and a cafeteria to serve the social and cultural needs of the Osmancık district.
