Çorum cuisine promoted to international tourists in Bodrum

The culinary traditions of Çorum, which carry a thousands-year-old Hittite heritage, are being promoted to international tourists in Bodrum. Through a special event organized by the Hapimag Sea Garden tourism facility, Çorum’s local flavors are being showcased to thousands of domestic and foreign guests.

The event, themed “Ancient Anatolian cuisine and the unique Çorum cuisine carrying a thousands-year-old Hittite heritage,” aims to position Çorum as a global gastronomy destination. The organization is being fully funded by the host business, with all accommodation, transportation, and event expenses covered by the facility rather than the Çorum Municipality.

Approximately 2,500 guests at the resort received digital and printed invitations to participate in the “Çorum Flavor Festival.” The promotion includes special concept areas, visual displays, and information boards designed to introduce the region's deep culinary history to bureaucrats, businesspeople, tourism representatives, and international travelers.
