Turkish football: Galatasaray and Amedspor secure narrow victories
The 8th week of the Trendyol Süper Lig and 11th week of the 1. Lig featured several key match results in Turkey.
In the Süper Lig, Galatasaray maintained its leadership with a 1-0 away victory against Gençlerbirliği, secured by a late 88th-minute goal from Deniz Gül. Amedspor also secured a vital 1-0 win against Konyaspor following an 85th-minute header by Mbaye Diagne. Fenerbahçe's upcoming derby is a major focus for the league.
